In response to Patricia Link:
Selected legislative histories with the statutes from Arnold & Porter are
on Westlaw, including the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of
1972 (FWPCA72-LH). Lexis also has the legislative history (LEGIS;FWPCLH)
taken, I believe, from that compiled by Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. Just
the act itself is available on Lexis with the cite 92 pl 500. The Westlaw
LH file, taken from their USCCAN publication series (which has the statutes
in hard copy), has selected committee reports and presidential signing
statements from 1948 forward, but not the statutes. See "Internet and
Online Sources of Legislative and Regulatory Information" -
http://www.llsdc.org/sourcebook/docs/internet.pdf ; page 8.

Ever wonder how clean the water is in the stuff they put in soda cans and
bottles? Is it municipal water or what?

Does anyone have a copy of the 1972 Clean Water Act? I seem to be able to
find every amended edition back to 1977 only. Apparently there is a
"Arnolds & Porter" version out there???
