CRIV Gram - [May 8, 2002] -

The CRIV sponsored a reverse site visit between Aspen and LLAGNY on April 23. A reverse site visit is one in which the vendor calls on the law library to see first hand how the day to day processes work.

Two law libraries, Sullivan & Cromwell and New York Law School, hosted executives from Aspen. Prior to the visits, Aspen created a list of questions based on issues continually raised by law librarians. The list was used as a guide and did not limit discussions.

You may find the list of questions posed to the CRIV and to the libraries involved on the CRIV website at http://www.aallnet.org/committee/criv/news/sitevisit/reverse/aspen1.htm. From this page links are provided to the full reports issued by Sullivan & Cromwell and by New York Law School.

The CRIV would like to thank everyone involved with putting the reverse site visit together along with those who participated. We would especially like to thank the Aspen executives who participated, Alison Alifano from Sullivan & Cromwell and Bill Mills from New York Law School.
