I've had a few people ask my to summarize, so here it
goes:

Maybe.

Because the Digests are not cumulative, they are still
useful for researching cases from before 1985.

Ultimately it comes down to three things: usage, shelf
space, & sentimentality. If you find that they are
rarely used and/or take up more space than you can
spare, then by all means toss them.

However, if the attorneys want to keep them, then keep
them.

In our particular case, our 2d's & 3d's do not get
used, and since we need all the shelf space we can get
for the Federal Appendix, we've decided to discard
ours.

Thanks to everyone who responded!

Chris
