Today is a milestone in both regulatory history, the Federal Register and "our tax dollars at work."
The Department of Justice has caused all the public comments in the Microsoft Antitrust litigation to be printed in the Federal Register. It will entail the printing of 12 booklets, each thicker than a standard sized Federal Register. It should top out at about one foot height of paper when we have all 12. The comments on Microsoft so far received are over 7200 pages and we are missing Book 12, still to be delivered.
