The following is a response from CCH regarding the transition from Books on
Screen to compliance.cch.com.

   We acknowledge, and apologize for the fact, that the conversion from Books on
   Screen to compliance.cch.com is not proceeding as smoothly as we had planned.
   We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused our customers. While we
   have been successful in other efforts in the past integrating content and /or
   products, this transition has been an extremely complicated one that has
   presented challenges we did not anticipate.

   We have attempted to keep customers apprised of the transition and related
   issues through a series of communications, most recently through phone calls
   and updates on the compliance.cch.com site. We have called every customer
   for whom we have accurate contact information and informed them of the issues
   we are facing. If you have not heard from CCH on this, it means accurate
   records for your contact information were not made available to us. Please
   contact us at 800-449-6435 so that we can correct our records and provide
   information to you.

   With respect to content migration from Books on Screen to compliance.cch.com,
   we are adding the remaining content as aggressively as possible, and we
   update a delivery schedule on the website regularly. All content will be
   available before the end of the month. In addition, Books on Screen will be
   live beyond the planned April 30 cut-off date; the new termination date is
   scheduled for May 31, but we will revisit that decision as circumstances
   warrant.

   With respect to customer migration, we have taken a number of steps to
   facilitate conversion to the new platform.
   --All customers have been provided with a Guide to research on the "new"
   platform (this will not be "new" to users of CCH's Internet Research
   NetWork). The Guide maps functionality from the old platform to the new,
   i.e., if you did X on Books on Screen, do Y on compliance.cch.com.
   --All customers should have been contacted to determine your need for
   training on the new platform.

   If you have not received these communications, or if you have other concerns,
   please contact CCH at 800-449-6435.

   We know we have not lived up to the high standard you expect from CCH in this
   process. We are working to resolve the transition issues and hope that you
   find the substantial functionality and interface enhancements available on
   the new platform to be a significant product improvement. Again, we
   apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, and we thank you for your
   patience as we complete this transition.
