Re: Aron @ Associates - Just What *Is* Mark A Montgomery Raving About ?

Look Ron,

Markets can only work when free people can voice their opinions to peers
who are in a position clean up messes.

Often times that can only be accomplished by informing those who hire the
beasts and keep them in business. I see those rants every day about my
peers on this list and I can tell you that a lot of effort is made in an
attempt to help. I've made that effort without compensation for
librarians for over five years.

I'm spending all of my time and money trying to fix problems for folks
like law librarians and their employers. I would certainly hope that you
are as interested in cleaning up your industry as we are in cleaning up
ours. That's called leadership and responsibility. I want to be informed
when my peers are using such poor tactics that skirt the loopholes in the
law that it has a negative effect on my industry.

In this case like so many others, an informed market will probably do a
lot more than a special interest group.

That's why it should be of interest to you and this COP.
