A long shot....but.....
Does anyone use or know of any company/database/software out there that
can provide filtered/selective alerting services to individual lawyers
across a firm for legal and/or business news information? We do
subscribe to the Lawtel service for UK legal related information (case
law, articles, legislation) which enables individual lawyers to select
broad subject headings they would like included in their personal
updates, which are then emailed directly to them on a daily basis.
However, I am currently investigating whether there is anything out
there that can be even more specific than broad subject areas.
Is there anything which can be as specific as searching for information
on individual companies, or through specific news sources, or right down
to specific points of law based on individual's preferences/needs??
The hope is that we can provide a service that will keep our lawyers up
to date, tailored to each individual's specific needs, without
bombarding them with information they don't necessarily need or want.
I will post any responses I receive back to the list.
