On a similar note, I have begun compiling a list
(http://www.law.indiana.edu/lib/netres/govt/stateurlslist.html) of
individual state legislative history research guides/pathfinders that are
available on the Web. So far, I have made it alphabetically through
Michigan. If you have a research guide that I haven't included yet, please
send me the URL so that I can add it to the list.

Thanks!
Jennifer

Subject: Help: Info on State Legislative Research firms

Cross posted to the listservs Law-Lib and LLSDC.

I am trying to put together information on commercial sources for state
legislative research, especially firms that will compile state legislative
histories. I have placed the information I already have in the LLSDC web
site on "State Legislatures, State Laws, and State Regulations". See
http://www.llsdc.org/sourcebook/state-leg.htm#CL . I believe there are a
lot more firms out there that may specialize in legislative research for
particular states. I would appreciate it if you all could check your
rollerdexes and other sources and send that information to me. After
verifying the information I will add those sources to the web site.

Much thanks,
