My thanks (and my indebtedness) go out to my colleagues who offered their
suggestions for sources of IP litigation statistics:

Paulette Toth, of Kirkland & Ellis, and Jeffrey J. Berns, of Birch, Stewart,
Kolasch & Birch, for their recommendation of the AIPLA Report of the
Economic Survey.

Alyson B. Danowski, of Collier Shannon Scott, for her recommendation of the
website of The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, which publishes
court case statistics every year on its webiste (<http://www.uscourts.gov>)
under the section entitled "Business of the U.S. Courts."

Steven Frankenstein, of Morrison & Foerster LLP, for his reommendation of
Robert L. Harmon's Patents and the Federal Circuit, which contains a table
entitled "Validity and Infringement Statistics."

You've made a difficult week much easier!
