It is important that we recognize vendors when they do something right, not just gripe when they mess things up. Therefore, I would like to thank Matthew Bender for moving so quickly on my account consolidation issue. Within hours of posting here on law-lib I was contacted by an account rep from Bender. After a little phone tag, we were finally able to connect. He explained the reasons behind the delay but stated that they were ready to begin consolidation. He took the necessary information from me and promised to call back today with a report on how things were going. He also informed me that sending a single check should work in the meantime.
So kudos go to the Bender customer service team for treating me right and acting quickly to serve an unhappy customer. If they can consolidate the accounts painlessly, I will sing their praises from the rooftops. (Memories of the West mergers and the billing nightmare that followed still give me cold chills.)
