Public elementary school libraries in Minneapolis and St. Paul will be the beneficiaries of the "Twice as Responsible: Books for Twin Cities Kids" project being sponsored by AALL's Social Responsibilities SIS. For the third year in a row--following successful book drives at the AALL Annual Meetings in Washington and Philadelphia--Social Responsibilities members invite all of our association colleagues to join with us in contributing something meaningful to our host cities. Any good-quality fiction and non-fiction books suitable for elementary age children will be most welcome. Annual Meeting attendees can bring books with them to Minneapolis to place in collection boxes at the Social Responsibilities table in the Activities Area of the exhibit hall. For those who prefer to mail their contributions in advance, Karen Westwood of the Minnesota State Law Library has graciously agreed to receive your books. Her address is "Karen Westwood, Minnesota State Law Library, 25 Constitution Ave., St. Paul, MN 55155-
6102. If you wish to order online or from another source that will mail the books, you can send them directly to Karen in St. Paul. Public school officials in the Twin Cities assure us that they will be doubly grateful for your generosity.
