I need the help of the list. In salary surveys of postsecondary educators,
university professors are sometimes divided into groups by discipline, i.e.,
"top-quartile disciplines," "bottom-quartile disciplines," or top paying
disciplines, etc. All the sources I looked at such as the AAUP web site,
U.S. Department of Education and various educational research sources, never
indicate what disciplines are in which category. For example, which
category would business school professors be in or history or english
professors? We're not concerned with rank or with whether the person is a
professor or assistant professor. Can anyone lead me to a source which
defines how these categories are divided?
