Subject: Re: Locating subsidiaries of companies
Beth:
Your best bet is to check the corporate structure of the subsidiary company-
What is the parent company? What company does the subsidiary report to on
administrative/financial matters?
Also determine if the company filed a 10-K report with the SEC. The 10-K is
an annual report which provides a comprehensive overview of the company for
the past year. The filing, although voluntary, is due 90 days after the
close of the company's fiscal year, and contains such information as company
history, organization, nature of business, holdings, subsidiaries, earnings
per share, and so forth.
Visit the following websites:
<http://hoovers.com/> http://hoovers.com/ - provides information on both
public and private companies worldwide, i.e. company profiles,
subsidiaries/divisions, financial data, officers, and much more.
<http://www.corporateinformation.com> http://www.corporateinformation.com -
also a great starting point to find information on public, private and
international companies.
