     Does anyone know why judges/justices wear black robes? I know this
     question has been asked before, and I think the answer may be in vol.
     70 of the Law Library Journal, but our volumes do not go back that
     far. Would anyone be willing to take a look, and if they can find
     that information, fax it to me at 414-297-1695.

     I would certainly appreciate the help.
