Hello Colleagues,
Do any of you use the GLAS Serials program to record your new continuations and serials? We have been using this for some time, but have a need to be able to record cost information of individual items. The Serials program does not seem to do that. Our previous humble DOS program reflected each vendor with each title and a line for each month to record costs of releases and volumes. This was very helpful to make sure we did not pay for an item twice (usually through a dup. or second notice from the vendor).
We use Quickbooks 99 currently (getting the new version) and Lotus 1,2,3, but so far have not been able to tailor them to do what we need.
Let me know if you have had any experience with the GLAS program in this regard or use another program with success. Thanks folks.
