The Office of the Attorney General is now accepting applications for the
position of Librarian. This full-time position oversees all aspects of the
library including acquisitions, cataloging and reference help. In addition
to managing the library, the Librarian will work to develop and promote new
services to assist the staff.

Minimum Qualifications: A Masters degree in Library and Information Science
from an ALA accredited institution; one to two years previous library
experience; knowledge of basic networking and relational database
development, standard cataloging practices including the use of LCSH and
LCCN; experience in web page construction, database and web searching; high
level writing and communications skills.

Preferred Additional Qualifications: Experience in a managerial and/or
technical services division; experience in a law library and/or a law
degree; experience searching specialized databases such as Westlaw and
Lexis-Nexis.
