I have had an attorney give me the cite for Desktoplawyer, which is a
British company that provides legal
documents (like wills, contracts, etc) using a software called Rapidocs.
You can purchase forms or subscribe
to this basic document database.
The attorney wants to know haw many other services there are like this. I
have done quite a bit of searching,
(Lexis, Westlaw, web) and have found a relatively short list on
http://www.legaltechsource.com/ under
document assemblers. The relevant ones from that list are:
Attorney's Computer Network, Blumberg Excelsior, Cowles Legal Systems,
Datatech Software,
Digital Contracts, Hotpaper.com, Interactive Professional Software
(FastDraft), Lawgic.com,
Legal Ease Auto Systems, Nolo.com, and Rapidocs.
My question to you all (didn't think I'd get there, did you??) is whether
you know of any additional resources
like these? I am not interested in briefs, just transactional type
documents.
Thanks!
