To a fellow law librarian -
All the best to you! I hope you have planned wonderful activities for yourself. ... And, thanks for sending your good-bye message. This has been one of those days - and when I saw your very pleasant good-bye, I was able to smile and say, "at least somebody get's to step off this tread-mill."
While you're stopping to smell the roses, remember us (the law-libbers) and the work with fondness.

The time has come to sign off. Staff and students have sung all the verses
of "Happy Trails" in the atrium of the library. Thank you, each and
everyone, for the help and encouragement you have given me over these 38
years of law librarianship. I owe much to those people who, when I needed
advice or a push, gave it.
I hope to see many of you when AALL comes to Orlando in 2002.
