I am doing research on the legal aspects of doing business on the Internet.
I need to create a page on my Internet that basically states the following,
but need some good websites to check for valid laws and/or procedure
as well as to locate all of the information that needs to be thought
about when you have a website
He is the beginning of what this page needs to have
Use of other peoples/companies images (legal requirements for acknowledgement)
Use of other peoples/companies trademarks (legal requirements for acknowledgement)
Forwarding email messages without the express permission of the author
Linking to other sites
Use of third party applications (licenses and acknowledgements)
Use of other Internet content (and the consequences of doing so)
Validating the source and using material on Internet purported to be
fact
Enforceable Internet contracts
Impersonating another on the Internet
Posting potentially inadvisable material on mailing lists, discussion
groups or bulletin boards
Privacy rights on the Internet
Internet legal evidence
eMail as a potential discovery source
If anyone can help me add to this list, with things I have not listed
and/or provide me with URLs that might talk about some of these things,
I will be very greatful.
