Many thanks to all who responded to my question about which version of the
rules was correct. I **believe** the version in House Doc. 106-228 is the
one we're going with. This would mean that the version on the Cornell site
(among others) is not correct. For those of you who would like to see the
discrepancy, the specific section we were looking at is Rule 26(a)1. Here
is the Cornell version:
