One of my attorneys is trying to locate a list of those auditors who are
approved/authorized to practice before the SEC. Another of my attorneys
believes this list exists but we are having no luck locating it - or even
locating a reference to it.
He has called the AICPA and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Both told
him that they knew nothing about it. We have searched WL/LX and CCH
Securities Law Reporter. A message has been left with the SEC but they're
closed today and of course it's needed today.
