This is crazy. I've had no trouble with Aspen consolidating accounts,
but they just keep opening new ones! This means that they keep sending
out books "on approval" to different attorneys, who, of course, have no
idea why they received them or what to do with them. Seems never to
occur to the attorneys to give the book to me - invoice, BOX, return
label, & book all together. They hand them off to an associate who, of
course, being brand new, is clueless. Now we have generated a new
account. Usually I am made aware of all this by getting Aspen's
statement several weeks down the road. And that's when my fun begins.
Anyone else have this problem?
