I am looking for a copy of the adoption agreement between France and
Vietnam that went into effect November 1, 2000. Adoptions between France
and Vietnam had been suspended in 1999 because of corruption (if anyone
knows where to find the order suspending adoptions back in 1999, I'd be
grateful as well).
I've searched the web - in particular, the french foreign ministry
site(s), some International Adoption sites, and the United Nations
website. I've written to the UN, & was told that to get the order &
agreement I would have to write to the french ministry. I have done this,
however the patron would like to have the agreements sooner than I'll be
able to get them by slow boat, so if anyone out there has any leads it
would be a great help.
