Good morning, Betsy,

With all those methods failing, and if the case is very important to
your project, perhaps resort to the "long route" is not out of the
question.

The plaintiff in the case, Kaimowitz, might be Gabe Kaimowitz, who was
then with Michigan Legal Services Assistance Program, Wayne State
University Law School, Detroit. See, Citizens for Better Health Care v.
Reizen, 51 Mich.App. 454, 215 N.W.2d 576 (1974); Doe v. Mitchell, 397
Mich. 225, 244 N.W.2d 827 (1976); and Kaimowitz, Legal emancipation of
minors in Michigan, 19 Wayne L R 23, 24 (1972). That's a possible match
on the basis of the combination of name, county, type of issue relative
to legal services programs, and years of practice near the date of your
case. While the attorney might not be there any more, the Michigan
Legal Services Assistance Program office might have a file. They might
be willing to either dig through their closed files and pull a copy of
the decision for you, or at least give you the right six-digit docket
number with which you can find it at court.

Good luck,

T. R.
