I would greatly appreciate knowing whether anyone is aware of a
comprehensive source for the following information, which was requested by
one of our members in Iowa:
". . . I am trying to find out the policies and practices in all
of the other states regarding the preparation of legal documents
involving
real estate. Specifically, I am trying to find out if nonlawyers,
such
as real estate agents and escrow agents, are permitted to prepare
real
estate deeds in other jurisdictions or if states specifically have
prohibitions against nonlawyers preparing such documents."
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
