To all Law Librarians wanting AICPA Authoritative Literature

I have responded by phone to several of you, and am now trying to get this
information out to everyone.

For access to AICPA Authoritative Literature, including Statements on
Auditing Standards, Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements,
Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services, Code of
Professional Conduct, Standards for Consulting Services, Quality Control,
Quality Review, Personal Financial Planning, Tax Practice, Statements of
Position, Questions and Answers from the Technical Hotline, Practice
Bulletins, Audit and Accounting Guides, Audit Risk Alerts, Current Industry
Developments, and Accounting Trends and Techniques, go to

          www.cpaweb.org.

You will have to register at the site, but registration is free. When
registering, use only alphanumeric characters when creating your user name
and password.

After registering, you will be taken to a page with a list on the left hand
side. AICPA Authoritative Literature is the fourth item in the list.
Click there. The next page describes the literature in brief, go to the
bottom and click on continue. Click through the security boxes. You will
finally arrive at a screen with CPAWeb on the left, under the red and black
bars you will see "resourceOnline" below that is a table of contents for
the literature. Clicking on the plus signs opens more levels of the table
of contents. Clicking on the pieces of paper opens the document in the
right hand pane.

If you have problems, in the upper right button bar, there is a HELP button
with lots of answers there, and the phone number for Customer Service, if
you need it.

Currently this information is free for anyone, because this is an
introductory time for the site (it went live in August). Later there will
be charges. I do not know what they will be.

Hello. I am hoping someone can fax a copy of AICPA Statement of Position
98-9 if it is not to long. I need to get it in a time frame that doesn't
allow for obtaining it through the AICPA. Thanks very much.
