Well, one place to help you with testing, if you ever decide to test [cause
you know the attorneys would love this! ;-), ] is a site called Proveit at
www.proveit.com. This site provides tests in a number of software
applications and technical knowledge as well as clerical functions. Tests
are available for a huge number of programs including Outlook, Word, Word
Perfect, PowerPoint... way too many to list. Many companies use the tests
prior to hiring new applicants. There is a one time subscription cost of
$99- and $25- per test. pretty cool stuff!

Subject: Attorney training
Are there any firms that use some kind of computer proficiency as a
performance review criteria for the Attorneys?
It has proved difficult to get attorneys to commit to computer training-I
have offered CLE's, food, treats, prizes, all with varying degrees of luke
warm success. It seems that there should be some kind of motivator.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, I will summerize for the list.
Thanks,
Mary
