My husband is a personal historian (someone who helps
others write their own or their family's memoirs). His
professional organization, the Association of Personal
Historians, is having its annual meeting in Dallas, Texas, in
November. One of the sessions is supposed to be on legal
issues of interest to writers and videographers, to whit,
copyright, contracts, intellectual property...Except they have
yet to secure a speaker! This session is supposed to take
place on 3 November, a Friday. There is a small honorarium.
Plus, the undying devotion of many people in a quickly
growing profession!
If you are an IP lawyer, or know of one in the Dallas area who
is qualified to speak on this topic, who wouldn't mind being
called, is willing to speak for about 1.5 hrs., and who can
commit to doing it, please contact me IMMEDIATELY!
Thanks in advance!
