I need a fax of an Iowa Attorney General Opinion dated 12-14-1966.
It is cited in the Iowa Statutes and summaries as "City Council had no
authority to appoint board of hospital trustees except under former
380.2.... Ordinance which purported to provide only for appointment of
board of hospital trustees was void." It is an annotation in Iowa Code
392.6 or 380.2 (repealed).
The State of Iowa Research Library's bound volumes of AG Opinions does not
include this opinion. It may be a private opinion. The AG Office is not
able to respond to the request today.
