Position Title: Reference Librarian
The New York County Lawyers' Association, founded in 1908, is a 9,000
member non-profit association serving the practicing bar. The
Association's 200,000 volume law library contains both current and archival
resources. In addition to its excellent collection, the library provides a
variety a fee-based services and the assistance of a service-oriented
reference staff. Additional information about the Association can be found

Position Description:
Provide legal, general and business reference service using traditional
book sources as well as electronic resources, including LEXIS, Westlaw and
the Internet. Responsibilities include working with the Library Director
on the Association's Web page. Experience with text editors, html and
Adobe Acrobat 4.0 is essential. Excellent oral and written communication
skills. Strong team and customer service orientation is necessary to work
with members in this fast-paced environment.
Hours: Tuesday-Friday 11AM-7PM; Saturday 10AM-6PM.
Qualifications: MLS and at least 2 years law library experience.
