Good Afternoon!

We are missing (or perhaps never had) Tennessee session laws (public acts)
for 1955 and 1964-1973. Normally that would not be a huge problem in
Missouri, but I am working with a professor who is trying to trace the
history of some corporation laws passed there. In particular, he is looking
for three types of laws:

1) short form mergers (parent-subsidiary mergers). He has a cite (28 Tenn
L. Rev. 543) that seems to indicate this was passed in 1955, codified in
1956.

2) permissive indemnification (he thinks probably between 1963-1975)

3) appraisal exceptions for publicly traded stock between 1967-1975/80. He
thinks this may be indexed under dissenter's rights (code section is
48-23-102)

In the code, many of these give the origin date as 1986, but he suspects
that is because corporate laws werre generally revised in 1986. He believes
there may have been something in place prior to that revision, and is
looking for those references.

We are more than happy to do the grunt work, but can't without the
resources. If someone there could send us the applicable range of fiche, or
index pages in paper or fiche, we could do the looking and then request
applicable documents through ILL channels. Or if someone knows a better
way, I am open to suggestions.

Thanks for anything you might be able to do.
