Alas, alas -
There really isn't any answer to summarize. We were unable to find any
source that would allow a person to research previous owners of a particular
domain name. None of the web registry sites like whois.com or askreggie.com
will let you do this. Neither will any of the online vendors such as Lexis,
Dialog, or even Saegis. Nobody. The gentleman I spoke to at Saegis thought
that this type of research might have been possible when all registrations
were through NSI, but no longer.
Thanks everyone for your interest and support. We'll keep our eyes open for
this type of thing. Please do the same and let us all know what you find.
