If you are planning to attend the 10th Annual Conference for Law School
Computing and Workshop on Distance Learning in Legal Education, June 21-24,
2000 in Chicago, PLEASE make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.
The Hyatt is the only hotel with rooms available Wed-Sat. They do not have
rooms available on Tuesday, but you can visit the CALI Conference web site
(www.cali.org/conf2000) where we have posted the names of several hotels
with rooms available for Tuesday noight. (some other big convention ends on
Wednesday and has grabbed most of the rooms in the city).
Our block of rooms at the Hyatt expires this Friday, so it is important that
you make your reservations soon. After Friday, there is no guarantee that
you will get the same room rate or even get a room in downtown Chicago.

Tell them that you are with the CALI/Chicago-Kent group to get the discount.
BTW, if you tell them that you need a room from Tuesday-Saturday, they will
erroneously tell you that they have none available - that's because they are
looking at Tuesday when they don't have any rooms, but not looking at the
rest of the days when they DO have rooms available. Be persistent!
