Welcome to Leadership Bytes, a short series of posts designed to up-date you on programs and events at the upcoming AALL Annual Meeting and Conference, "Gateways to Leadership".
The first of these "Leadership Bytes" solicits ideas for the Hot Topic program. The Hot Topic will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2000 from 8:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.. The Hot Topic time slot has been set aside in order to provide a forum for emerging issues and late-breaking events of interest to AALL members.
The Annual Meeting Program Selection Committee is ready to begin receiving and reviewing ideas for the Hot Topic. You may forward your proposals for the Hot Topic to the Chair of AMPSC, Anne Matthewman, at: amatthew@istar.ca. Please include an outline of the proposed topic, suggest speakers, and include a suggested format for the program in your email. AMPSC is looking forward to receiving your ideas. The Committee anticipates making a decision on the Hot Topic in mid to late June.
