The registration deadline for the AALL professional development program,
"Copyright Law in the Digital Age," has been extended until Friday, May 12,
2000. The program will be presented on Saturday, May 20, 2000, in Orange,
California at Chapman University School of Law. Laura N. Gasaway (Director
and Professor of Law, Kathrine R. Everett Law Library, University of North
Carolina) is the instructor. The full-day program runs from 9:00 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. and is designed to provide information professionals with the
answers to their questions on copyright law as it pertains to libraries.
Those interested in attending can register online to assure a spot. A
registration form for this program is available on AALLNET at
http://www.aallnet.org/prodev. The program is presented by the American
Association of Law Libraries with support from BNA.
