Hello!
I am looking for a Georgia Transfer Tax form which is used when you record a
mortgage.
I believe it is Form PT-61 and is called Real Estate Transfer Tax
Declaration Form.
An order form for several property tax forms is available at the Georgia DOR
web page, but ordering this way will take over a week, and they only come in
lots of 100!
Of course, we need it right away and we really don't need 100 of them.
If any of my neighbors to the south has a copy of this form that they would
be willing to fax to us, it would be GREATLY
APPRECIATED, and we would be happy to pay any copy/faxing costs!
