Dear Colleagues,
In connection with a forthcoming article, I would like to compare the
text of three cases as provided on West's Premise CD-ROMs and Matthew
Bender's Lexis Law on Disc CD-ROMs to the text provided by a third
source that I am researching. The text as provided by the third source
contains LEXIS citations. I'd like to find out whether LEXIS citations
are present in the Premise and Lexis CD-ROM versions.
The three cases are all from the 5th Circuit:
United States v. Meuller, 168 F.3d 186 (5th Cir. 1999).
Williamson v. City of Houston, 148 F.3d 462 (5th Cir. 1998).
Surgical Care Center v. Hospital Service District, 153 F.3d 220 (5th
Cir. 1998).
The Premise and Lexis CD-ROMs to which I have access do not cover the
5th Circuit. Hence my inquiry here. If any of you have either CD-ROM
service covering the 5th Circuit, might you do me a favor: pull the
three cases and let me know whether whether they contain LEXIS
citations?
Thank you.
