Seeking librarian to direct new FDIC business library in San Francisco.
One full-time and one alternate/on call librarian needed.
SCSC is recruiting a dynamic, service oriented librarian with MLS degree
and 3 years experience in banking, law, economics, or business. Excellent
interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and leadership skills
essential. Cuadra STAR library system experience a plus. Responsibilities
include establishing new library, extensive reference services, online
searching, SDI, marketing, cataloging, collection development and
maintenance, acquisitions, serials management, ILL, and circulation.
Manage one paraprofessional. Salary: $43,000.
Alternate/On Call Librarian
Great opportunity for MLS Librarians with reference and online search
experience in law, business, or economics. Serve as back-up/on-call
librarian for FDIC Regional Office Library in San Francisco. Monthly
stipend
of $50 for your availability whether you work or not. Additional rate of
$25 per
hour for the days you are needed -- probably 5 - 7 days per year.
Part-time Library Clerk
We are also looking for an outstanding library clerk with at least 2 years
of library experience. Excellent communication skills, word processing
ability, knowledge of library classification schemes, and familiarity with
legal collection maintenance required. Responsibilities include shelving,
filing, processing, and patron assistance. 16 hours per week.
Salary: $12.39 per hour.
