LawDesk...Mixed Messages?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering how people are adjusting to West's LawDesk CDs, plus I have a question.

Have you found that you must be a mind reader (or CD-mind reader) to use these things? In particular, do you have any clue as to what message you will receive if all your licenses are being used at one time??? Will it be: 1) Unable to open unregistered product; or 2) Ohio Reports (substitute your own CDs name) could not be found; please insert (Ohio Reports) CD; or 3) Problem with underlying CD-ROM server; 4) or others which I didn't have the chance to write down.

Am I missing something. Didn't there used to be (on Premise) a logical message saying something like "No license available". I'm hoping that LawDesk has a similar, sensible message.

My IT Dept. is insisting that the multitude of LawDesk problems we've had over the past two weeks are licensing issues, based largely on their interpretation of these screen messages. I say not.

Any other experiences or suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
