I realize I too should be letting everyone know that I have had prompt
service from Bob Bezouka, the librarian at the CCH Riverwoods Library. A
rep we had about 10 years ago gave me his name after the New York CCH
library was closed. I have called on his expertise many times, and he
either knows or can find the answer himself, or puts me in touch with the
right editor to find the information my patron needs. While Bob has out on
medical leave, Mike (whose last name I don't remember) has also been very
helpful.
I would also say, that we have far fewer problems with our CCH products,
both loose-leaf and electronic, than we do with similar products from most
other vendors. In fact, on our CD-ROM LAN, which I administer, I refer to
CCH as an "old reliable". The search interface works quite well, and they
make it easier to replace disks than many other vendors, by not changing
the volume label from disk to disk.
