Actually, the firm is McCloy, but as to the real McCoy, there are a number
of versions as to it's origin. The most common seems to be that there was a
popular late 19th Century boxer named Kid McCoy, so popular that a number of
other fighters "borrowed" his name. But, if you were lucky, you paid your
money to see the Real McCoy.
