Good thought. I wondered if this a provision issued by the Alabama state body that licenses and regulates physicians.

It is possible this could be a regulation. Just a thought!

I need some help! I was told there is an Alabama statute that prohibits a
physician from referring a patient to a clinic or some such entity in
which the physician holds ownership or interest. I searched the Alabama
code on line but could not find anything. I would greatly appreciate it
if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!
