How about how helpful and knowledgeable (sp?) the librarian can be....I
see many of our summer associates, year-round law clerks, and even young
associates wasting time with research questions that the librarian can
answer in a relative hearbeat because they are so eager to prove
themselves and they don't like to ask for help. This is a phenomenom I
see over and over...I understand their zeal but at the same time we could
be saving them so much time and frustration, leaving them more time to
write their briefs or whatever else they need to do.
Also, not to be afraid to ask questions. We most probably have some
great answers for them but for some reason (shyness mostly I
guess or the desire to be independent) they are hesitant to ask questions.
