The Law Librarians of Puget Sound (LLOPS) will be hosting a Spring
Professional Development Workshop on Friday, April 14th from 8:30am to
1:30pm. The workshop will be held at Condon Hall on the University of
Washington campus.
The program will include a taped showing of the AALL Video Teleconference,
"Books and Bytes: Balancing Formats in Today's Libraries", along with a
panel of local experts who will comment on the topics covered in the video
program. The program will also include a presentation by Carla Rickerson,
Head, Manuscripts, Special Collections and University Archives from the
University of Washington entitled "We're not Dusty Anymore! Trends,
Challenges, Opportunities faced by Special Collections in the New Century"
The cost of the workshop is $40.00 for LLOPS members, $45.00 for
non-members and $15.00 for students. Registration includes program
materials, refreshments and a box lunch.
