I'm curious if anyone has had any dealings with Hart Information Services. We have a subscription to their Texas Commercial Forms Manual, and are missing several updates. According to Hart, our subscription lapsed during 1997 for non-payment (I'm working on that one with our accounting office), and we paid for 1998 and 1999. There were no updates issued in 1998, so we got nothing for our money, and we missed the 1st update for 1999 (although we received the 2nd). The rep at Hart said they cannot verify that we didn't receive the 1999-1 update, and so they will not send us another one (they can't verify what happens to an update once they put it in the mail, so they assume we receive it). Our only option is to purchase an entire new book (which is actually cheaper than the subscription price, so I may just purchase a new book every other year).
I just needed to vent, as I'm tired of getting the run-around from the publisher. Has anyone had any problems with them? Thanks for letting me vent!
