Thank you to all those who made suggestions for journals in the Utility
and/or Energy area. Below is a summary of these recommendations:

Power Generation Markets from McGraw-Hill would be a good choice.
Electric Utility Week, also from McGraw-Hill is also very good.
Public Utilities Fortnightly from Public Utility Reports is not bad.

We just started a subscription to the Global Power Report (McGraw-Hill). I
don't know if you care about int'l coverage, but this definitely includes
deal
info. It's bi-weekly and covers electric power development and
privatization
worldwide. Probably worth a look --

do you know about Fosters Natural Gas Report? I have just discarded our
1998 issues, I would be glad to mail you some samples if you like. I would
also be interested in any responses you receive. We are trying to enhance
our Library resources in this area.

Fortnightly (formerly known as Public Utilities Fortnightly) (Public
Utilities Reports) is a local favorite. Also Electric Utility Week (McGraw
Hill), Energy Daily (King Publishing), Inside FERC (McGraw Hill). We also
rely on the updates which come with our looseleafs such as FERC Reports
(CCH), Utilities Law Reports (CCH), FERC Practice and Procedure Manual
(Thompson), to name a few.

When I worked at PECO Energy this was a great journal.
It has mergers, regulation, etc.
