This message has been posted previously to the ALL-SIS
list.

Hello to law librarians interested in issues regarding LEXIS & WESTLAW in
the law school. Once again, the ALL-SIS will be sponsoring a LEXIS &
WESTLAW forum at the annual convention. I just received the 2000 Annual
Meeting Audio Visual Request form from headquarters, and it reminded me
that I need your input now to be sure that we have a good program this
summer.

Last year we asked representatives of both companies responsible for the
law school market to discuss their respective programs for the 1999-2000
year. We also had a fairly lively Q&A session. We had anticipated having
true roundtable discussions, but the crowd was so large that that proved
impossible to manage in our room.

I'd like to know what you think would be most useful for this year's
program.
Do you want to try to hold roundtable discussions?
What are the issues which you think are most pressing with regard to LEXIS
& WESTLAW use in the law schools?
What do you think should be discussed at this meeting?

If you have ideas, please respond to the list so that we can share them.
If you prefer feel free to respond to me directly. I need your input to
make this forum useful for all of us.

Thank you.
