Funny you should ask about online law classes. How about an online law
school? My article "Attending Law School Online" just arrived in the mail
today. It is published in "The Internet Lawyer's" Feb. 2000, vol. 6, issue
2 newsletter (go to http://www.internetlawyer.com/tillive.htm to request a
free sample issue).

The first, and only law school entirely online is the Concord Law School (go
to http://www.concordlawschool.com), located in California (actually it's
located in
cyberspace, but it's headquartered in Los Angeles).

As to a list of law schools that offer ad hoc online courses, contact the
American Bar Association. They issued "Temporary Guidelines on Distance
Education" in
1997 (see http://www.abanet.org/legaled/distance.html to read the
guidelines) and just held a conference on this topic in Nov. of 1999 where
they re-affirmed the
Guidelines.

One last thing--the Southern California Association of Libraries' Annual
Institute will be having a panel on law school and cle classes on the web
which I am moderating. It will be held on March 3, 2000 in Ventura, CA (see
http://www.netforlawyers.com/seminars-events.htm#march for more details).

I have been having a hard time finding this information. Does anybody
know if such a list already exists or could anybody tell me if their
particular schools offer online courses? Thanks.
