Do you know of a book that compares U.S. and Canadian statutes? My patron
would like something that not only guides the user to the statutes of each
country governing a particular issue but also compares the content/intent of
the statutes.
We've looked at the book published by Hein, "Statutes Compared: a U.S.,
Canadian Multinational Research Guide to Statutes by Subject", but all it
does is list commercial publications that contain the text of each statute.
The "law digest" volumes of Martindale-Hubbell are not the complete answer
either.
Sure would appreciate any suggestions.
