The folks in vessel operations ask me to see if any of the IAMSLIC
libraries have training films or videos on safety with small research
vessels or smaller boats (ex. small trawl boats and trailerable boats). Or
videos on things to be aware of in terms of safety on small boats such as
safety of handling gear or safety of handling animals when tagging etc.
They have found commercial films for large commercial boats/ships but we
don't have those kinds of vessels.
I have done some searching and found one at Florida State University,
"Judgement on the Water: A Lesson in Small Boat Safety" 1992.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
